Pricing

Pricing changes: As of Novemeber 2023 we have slightly increased our prices, and have also added a 60 minute treatment option.

Initial consultation – 1 hour – $130

Standard consultation – 45 minutes – $105

Extended consultation – 1 hour – $140

Long consultation – 75 minutes – $170

MEDICARE

If you are someone with a chronic physical complaint or condition you may be eligible for up to five sessions under Medicare (partial funding). Speak with your GP for more info.

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE

Private health insurance can be claimed on the spot using the Hicaps machine. Rebates will vary between companies. Medicare payments can also be claimed on the spot with a valid GP referral.

DISCOUNTS

Music Victoria, PBS/RRR Subscribers and PCG members: 10% off first two appointments.

PAY IT FORWARD

If you wish to make any extra payment on top of your regular cost of treatment, this will go towards funding sessions for those that can’t afford treatment. At the end of every month we tally any extra payments and when there is a sufficient amount, are able to forward this on to patients that we know are in need. It may be once off or a continuous $5/$10 extra at each session. Please talk to reception should you wish to participate.

Referrals

We accept and encourage referrals from other health practitioners, GPs, music teachers, performing arts coaches, conductors and more.

Who you are and what your connection to the person is
What you would like us to assess or advise on
Attach any other relevant history and/or forms
Yours and the patient’s contact details, we can contact them if needed.

We will then be sure to communicate with you once we have had our initial consultation and devised a treatment plan.

Covid-19 Policy

Sound Osteopathy maintains a high level of Covid Safe policies and procedures, including:

All our staff being fully vaccinated against Covid-19
Patient screening forms
High standards of clinic cleaning, PPE and hygiene policies
Up-to-date training and continued clinic evaluation as the Covid landscape changes
Appropriate level of masks to be worn at all times in the clinic.

If you have tested positive for Covid-19:

We ask that you book your appointment at least 7 days from your positive test.

If you are asymptomatic and have a negative rapid antigen test, this may be reduced. Please call the clinic if unsure. More information on the symptoms of Covid-19 can be found here
